​Raised in Great Neck, NY, as a young child Raymond Hakimi was immersed in the performing arts, living and breathing acting and art. He developed a strong appreciation for the beauty of his surroundings. As a young adult, he traveled throughout the Middle East, Asia and Europe and was exposed to a vast array of cultures, which led him to the inspiration to study jewelry design and fashion at FIT. He furthered his education at The Gemology Institute of America, where he studied everything from diamonds to gemstones to pearls. He acquired a greater knowledge working with master craftsmen who understood the importance of perfection and honor in their profession. Raymond Hakimi then went on to develop his own line of jewelry created on the principles of excellence, supreme attention to detail, and a commitment to each piece.
